Frequently asked questions.
What is a Psychedelic Experience?
A psychedelic experience is a journey inward, expanding consciousness and perception through an altered state. With intention, care, and respect, it can be a powerful tool for healing, growth, and transformation.
How DOES INTEGRATION COACHING WORK?
Integration coaching is for those seeking transformation and expansion. We will prepare the individual to face compelling, inexpressible experiences with clarity and an open heart. In the beginning we will meet for preparation sessions to get you ready for your journey, and afterwards to aid you in processing the experience and moving forward in the new phase or chapter of your life.
Integration is a process rather than a one-time event.
How do I know if I need integration coaching?
Integration coaching can be valuable for anyone who has had—or is planning to have—a psychedelic experience and wants support in making sense of it, processing insights, and applying them to everyday life.
You might benefit from integration coaching if:
You’ve had a powerful or confusing psychedelic experience and don’t know how to interpret it.
You feel like your journey brought up emotions, memories, or realizations that you're struggling to integrate.
You want to use psychedelics for healing, growth, or self-discovery and want guidance in preparing for the experience.
You’ve had challenging or difficult trips and want to process them in a safe, supportive space.
You’re noticing shifts in your relationships, work, or identity after a journey and want to navigate those changes consciously.
Integration coaching isn’t just about talking through what happened—it’s about helping you take meaningful action so that your experiences lead to real transformation in your life.
Do I need to have had a psychedelic experience to do integration coaching?
No! Integration coaching isn’t just for after a journey—it can also help you prepare. Whether you're exploring psychedelics for the first time, returning after a break, or just curious, coaching can support you in setting intentions, understanding harm reduction, and navigating your path with clarity.
What happens in an integration session?
Integration sessions are tailored to your needs. We’ll explore your experience, unpack insights, and identify ways to apply them in daily life. Sessions may include reflection, somatic practices, mindfulness, and practical strategies to support your growth and transformation.
How do I prepare for a psychedelic journey?
Preparation is key to a meaningful experience. Focus on:
Set & Setting – Create a safe, comfortable environment with supportive people.
Intention – Clarify why you're journeying and what you hope to explore.
Mindset – Approach with openness, curiosity, and self-compassion.
Physical Preparation – Consider diet, rest, and any health factors.
Aftercare – Plan for integration time post-journey to process and reflect.
We can support you in preparing with personalized guidance.
What is the role of set and setting in a psychedelic experience?
Set (your mindset) and setting (your environment) shape your experience. A calm, open mindset and a safe, supportive space can lead to deeper insights and smoother journeys. Poor set and setting can contribute to anxiety or difficult experiences. Thoughtful preparation helps create a meaningful and transformative journey.
Do you work with first time journeyers?
Yes! We support beginners in preparing for their first experience with education, harm reduction, and integration. Whether you're feeling curious, excited, or nervous, we help you set intentions, create a safe setting, and navigate the process with clarity and confidence.
What’s A Trip Sitter?
A trip sitter is a sober, trusted person who provides a safe, supportive presence while you’re in an altered state. Their role is to ensure your physical and emotional well-being, allowing you to fully engage with your journey without worry.
JOURNEY ALONE?
Having a sitter provides safety, support, and peace of mind, allowing you to fully surrender to the experience. Journeying alone can feel isolating, and challenging moments may be harder to navigate without someone there to ground you. A trusted sitter can handle small distractions—like a ringing phone or a package delivery—and be present in case of any unexpected needs, creating a more secure and easeful space for your journey.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
Yes! We meet clients in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Jersey City, and Hoboken at no additional cost.
For areas outside this range—such as Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, Upstate NY, Hudson Valley, New Jersey, and Connecticut—additional fees may apply.
We also travel to other cities and states on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss options.
Do you offer in-person sessions outside of the NY area?
Yes! We may be available for travel. Please contact us to discuss options.
do you work with couples?
Yes, we offer coaching for couples looking to explore their journeys together. The process can help deepen connection, communication, and shared understanding. Please reach out to discuss how we can support you and your partner.
Availability depends on the specific needs and dynamics of the couple.
do you work with Groups?
Yes, we offer group integration support in certain cases. Group work can provide a shared space for reflection, connection, and collective learning. Please reach out to discuss your group’s needs and how we can support your journey.
Availability depends on the size, intention, and dynamics of the group.
Can you connect with my mental health care provider?
Yes! It is highly recommended that before anyone sits with you, they connect with your mental health care provider before doing so. It is a vital part of harm reduction, and your privacy will always be respected and honored.
What are the fees, pricing, and estimates?
We need to discuss where you are in your journey, what your intention/s are, and all things that matter to you. Then we’ll discuss how we work, what services we recommend and what that will cost.
Can you provide me with An Invoice?
Yes, we can provide an invoice upon request.
Do you take insurance?
No, our services are not covered by insurance
Are you a licensed healthcare provider?
No, we are not therapists or licensed healthcare providers. Our work focuses on harm reduction, education, and integration support.
Can you provide me with psychedelics?
No. We do not provide, sell, or source any substances, nor do we condone illegal activities. Our focus is on harm reduction, education, and integration—helping people prepare for, process, and apply their experiences in a safe and meaningful way.
What medicines do you have experience with?
We have experience supporting individuals with a range of psychedelic experiences. Please reach out directly to discuss this in more detail.
Are you a shaman?
No. We actually consider "shaman" a red flag word. Traditionally, a true shaman is recognized by their community, not self-proclaimed. In the psychedelic space, a more appropriate term is "shamanic practitioner." We strongly caution against working with anyone in the U.S. who calls themselves a shaman.
Our approach is grounded, practical, and client-centered. We focus on harm reduction, integration, and personal transformation, rather than mysticism or claims of special powers.
I want my fATHER / MOTHER / SON / DAUGHTER to do this work. Will you work with them?
They have to want and consent to be coached and to do this type of work. And, it must be agreed upon that everything said in the coaching container is confidential and will not be shared with the client’s written consent.
What is the best way to navigate a challenging or difficult experience?
Start by giving yourself time and space to process without judgment. Journaling, mindfulness, movement, and talking with a trusted guide can help. Integration coaching provides a structured, supportive space to unpack emotions, find meaning, and turn challenges into growth.
Is what you’re offering something that cuts out risks obstacles and bad outcomes?
No. Challenges are part of the journey. While we can’t remove all risks, we provide guidance, tools, and support to help you navigate them with awareness and resilience. Integration coaching isn’t about avoiding difficulties—it’s about using them for growth and transformation. Our goal is to empower you to face challenges with confidence and clarity, so you can move forward with greater self-awareness and strength..
